Last year a quirky tea room/design/shop/crafty place opened near Kings Cross Station called Drink, Shop & Do. Set up by two school friends they wanted to create something that would make them happy and this is the result, a design shop and cafe bar where everything in it is for sale, from the chairs you sit on, to the artwork on the walls, they serves cocktails and afternoon tea whilst you can sit knitting or playing scrabble.
Me and a couple of friends went for afternoon tea with a voucher we got off groupon a few months ago. Situated in old Victorian bathhouse with loads of light and tall ceilings it has a really buzzy atmosphere. We were served a cocktail that tasted of cherry drops, loads of classic finger sandwiches and cake on three tier cake stands and tea in mismatch cups and teapots.
