I have already made a big Chocolate and Guinness cake this week for a friends birthday at work and once again the compliments were think and fast! So when it came to the weekend of my housemate Claire's 30th birthday I thought I would make it again but in cupcake form. Same Nigella Lawson recipe as before but I used my new muffin tin which is so much better than a regular fairy cake tin as they keep their shape and as it is a really heavy metal they cook fast and perfectly!
I nearly had a disaster as forgot to add the sugar but luckily I sampled the mixture before I filled too many muffin cases and realised it was very bitter and just added it last. Phew, disaster averted!
